RANDOM THOUGHTS:
The following were on my mind between Thursday, March 29th and Monday, April 2nd:
- I hope more TV shows take note on how to do product placement right from last Thursday's episode of "Community."
-What presidential election isn't "the most important in our nation's history"?
- One of the many perks of being a sideline reporter: getting the best seat in the house for coach-on-coach verbal bouts like the one that Pierre McGuire got to witness. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgKCdGnVJxM)
-Wouldn't it have been awesome if The Onion just decided to post articles about real news stories on April 1st?
- After being fired from what is now his fourth different TV job, I find it kind of hard to sympathize with Keith Olbermann's issues with the networks at this point.
- Weekly "Mad Men" thought(s): Harry Crane failing to realize that the band he signed to represent Heinz's beans commercials was not the Rolling Stones is the most Harry Crane thing ever. Also, I'm not sure which was a more unpleasant sight to see through the season's first two episodes: Little Roger's little Roger in the season premiere, or what I assume was a January Jones body double getting out of the tub last night?
New "Random Thoughts" to come next Monday. Happy start of April, everybody!
Sincerely,
Your pal: mj15
