I'll have it posted soon, geez!RANDOM THOUGHTS:
Hey. So, sorry to everyone (and by "everyone," I mean all twelve of you) that were expecting to see my 3rd annual Super Bowl recap post uploaded already. Unfortunately, I just haven't found the time to spend five hours or so (yes, that's how long it will take for me to write it) in front of a computer to write it. If you want, you can take a look back at the two previous post-Super Bowl columns from 2010 and 2011 by clicking here and here. Or, how about a column to satisfy your "Random Thoughts" needs while allowing me to continue stalling? Sounds good? No? Well too bad, because here's one anyway.
The following were on my mind between Thursday, February 2nd and Tuesday, February 7th:
-Despite the fact that Mitt Romney has been on a roll since the Florida primaries, Newt Gingrich continues to remain committed in running his campaign until ole mittens' gets every delegate necessary. If only he was as faithful to his first two wives...
- The game show "Pyramid": The original "Shit ____ Say." Literally. They had categories with the titles "Things ___ Say" and everything.
- One great thing about "Smash" premiering on NBC (Monday after the Super Bowl!) was that we're finally done with seeing the same 2-3 promos running on the network over and over again. Oh, and that pilot really ended up being just hype. It wasn't terrible by any means, but it wasn't great either. And from what I've heard, there are many more flaws from this show to come.
- "Be sure to watch 'Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace' in 3D." Great, just what I need! Another dimension for Jar-Jar Binks to annoy me throughout the film.
- I'm surprised that "Chronicle" has actually received positive reviews, since I thought that the TV ads for it made the movie look terrible. In fact, I haven't this surprised with such pleasantly surprising reviews since "The Hangover."
- Watching "The Pupp Bowl" convinced me that puppies should have a 24/7 channel of their own. Their adorableness must be recognized every single minute!
Once again, sorry for not having the Super Bowl XLVI post written already. I promise that I will have it ready in the coming days, though. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your workweek!
Sincerely,
Your pal: mj15
