Random Thoughts: 10/22/09- 10/25/09

RANDOM THOUGHTS:

The following were on my mind between Thursday, October 22nd and Monday, October 25th:

- Frist, Monty Python, then the outstandingly brilliant "Shaun of the Dead" (which I command you to see this instant!). I'm liking this British "humour."

- I hat picking late-afternoon games. I was undefeated after the noon games in picks. Then, I ended up losing in five out of the last six games.

- Pardon me for my inner Larry David, but you really can't shush anymore! I mean, besides the library, you can't shush people anywhere else. And it's not even that rude. You can probably get killed by someone if you shush them. You know what I'm saying?

- Yankees fan: manners : : MacKenzie Phillips: saint

- Can people please stop complaining about David Spade in that Direct TV commercial. Chris Farley died in 1996, not this summer. How long before it indeed is considered "soon"? However, I will agree that Mr. Spade did not made a good career move.

- Hey, did you hear? Bill Simmons is going to make a book tour this week around the TV stations. "The Colbert Report," "SportsNation," "Morning Joe," and even "PTI." Hopefully, they'll put some make-up on him. I mean, did you see him on the ESPN "30 for 30" documentary last week? He looked incredibly pale.

- Weekly "Mad Men" thought: Wow! Just, wow! Definetly the best episode of the season. I think I was tense the enture last twenty minutes of the show. And it's not even the season finale!

More random thoughts to come late this week!
Sincerely,
Your pal: mj15
