Anderson Cooper, Oreo's Gay Pride Controversy, and Another Reason to Hate Hitler

RANDOM THOUGHTS:

Happy Eve of Independence Day Eve, everyone! The following were on my mind between Monday, June 25th to Monday, July 2nd:

- Anderson Cooper is gay?!?? I haven't been this shocked at a celebrity coming out since Ricky Martin!

-The worst part about this stupid Oreo "Gay Pride" controversy isn't the reaction from people who hate it, but instead the fact that the cookie they printed in the ad doesn't even exist. As a fan of Oreos since I was six years old, I cannot tell you how I felt when I realized that this delicious looking baked good was never going to approach the vicinity of my mouth in the near future.

-As a non-Canadian, City TV sounds like one of the best channels in the planet. It's lineup includes great comedies like "Community," "Parks and Rec," "Happy Endings," "Louie," "30 Rock," and "New Girl," and they're the official sources to pretty much 90% of the .gifs from all these shows.

- You young people with your Twitters and your Tumblrs and your Facebooks and your Myspaces and your grunge music and your MTV, your glam rock and your "Rappers Delight" and your bell bottom jeans and your Woodstock, your Beatles and your sock hops and your "Howdy Doody" and your talking motion picture and your flappers...YOU PEOPLE HAVE NO RESPECT!

- Here's another reason why Hitler is the world's greatest douchebag (besides, you know, The Holocaust and starting a World War): he's the only man in history to have ever stopped the rest of the world from wearing a style of mustache ever again without any scorn. At least you still see a bunch of old men with Stalin mustaches. If you're anybody but Charlie Chaplin and you wear the same style of mustache that Hitler did in public, you're gonna get the same kind of scorn that Michael Jordan got.

- I'll just pretend that the characters on "Magic Mike" are there to pay for their law school bills.

I hope that you enjoy your 4th of July this Wednesday, regardless of whether your live in the United States like I do. Otherwise, I guess I will see you with more of the RTs next week.
Sincerely,
Your pal: mj15
