RANDOM THOUGHTS:
The following were on my mind between Monday, November 16th and Thursday, November 19th:
- Turkeys, pumpkin pies, THREE football games on a Thursday and an extra day off after it. I can't wait for Thanksgiving next week!
- How come it costs less to make prescription medicine than McDonalds beef, but it costs more to buy it? I'm not sayin', but I'm just sayin'.
- The freshman kid from "Dazed and Confused" that plays for the Giants is the best pitcher in baseball.
- For some reason, college basketball's annual return is more unsuspecting than any other league in sports. That, or MLS.
- From Leon's talk with Micheal Richards to Marty Funkhouser's joke, last week's episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" was terrific, possibly the best out of this great season. Can't wait for next week's season finale!
- Great, just what you need: a bunch of angry Irishmen! (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=700747&sec=worldcup2010&cc=5901)
- Fact: My school is having a special week commemorating the movie release of "New Moon." We've even got a countdown clock and posters of it in our library!
Opinion: This is yet another reason why the majority of my school sucks.
- You think Pats fans were angry when they lost to the Colts? Wait until you see some of the comments from Ireland about the France- Ireland soccer game:

Even though I have dozens of more thoughts about the Ireland-France controversy, I'm going to end it there. New random thoughts return this Monday! Until then, here's another great edition of the "Beatle-tastic Song of the Week" for you. Tonight, we bring you a classic from the year 1969 that I really can't believe it took until now to bring it here. Ladies and gentleman, from the Beatles' 1969 album "Abbey Road," I give you, "Come Together." Enjoy:
Sincerely,
Your pal: mj15
