Before I begin, I would just like to point out that this will be the last "End of the Week" post of 2009. The reasons are simple. The first is because I won't feel like posting one next week when it will be the day after Christmas. Also, starting next week I will be working on a special four or five part segment looking back at the year 2009, simply called "End of the Year," where I look back from the last twelve months from almost every angle. I'll also post some extra columns dedicated to some of the decades' best.
Monday will also be the final "Random Thoughts" post of 2009. So, if you are clicking your way to this site next Saturday hopping to see these two, well I'm sorry but it won't be back until after New Year's Day. So, on we go! The following are some of the best moments from the past seven days:

This video has music, a parody of last year's best film, comedy, and it tells what some people have already thought in a clever way. What more can you ask for?
Story of the Week: Elin Nordergen to Divorce Tiger Woods
I picked this story for two reasons. First of all, there were really no big stories to come out this week. Then again, there's never any real big story to come out this time of year except the biggest sales in stores and who someone thinks is the years' best and worst ___. So why not use the week's biggest story about this month's biggest story. Also, I almost went through an entire "End of the Week" post without mentioning this guy, so why not use him.
Person of the Week: You
Well, this is more like the person of the week for next week, but it still applies. After all, the holiday season is in full swing. Christmas is less than a week away. Snow is falling, making it feel more like Christmas. The football season is at it's best. You're on vacation. You're sitting at home, or somewhere else that is comfortable, relaxing and feeling good. Overall, unless you have something bad happening in your life right now, you're having yourself a good time, which makes you feel on top of the world. And that is why you are the person of the week!
And that's the way it is. So remember: there will be no "End of the Week" post until the first full week of 2010 and my last "Random Thoughts" column of 2009 will be on Monday. During this time, I'll spend most of my time relaxing on my winter break, helping my family prepare for Christmas, maybe writing a fun post or two on this blog, and working on my "End of the Year" and "Best of the Decade" posts.
