RANDOM THOUGHTS:
The following were on my mind... well, if you read the title you would know. So...
- So Mike Golic, you actually think that Jimmy Claufsen, quarterback of your Notre Dame is going to be successful in the NFL? Well, then, I guess Rams fans don't have to worry about their future star QB! By the way, how is Brady Quinn, the other quarterback from your alma mater that you said was going to be really good, doing? Is he as good as you thought he would be?
- The holidays and winter break are approaching, football is the main sports story, and there hasn't been a story about Michael Jackson for tow months. Life is good.
- WTF, Associated Press? These are your ten best shows of the decade? Based on what? Okay, so there are some good shows on the list like "The Sopranos," "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," "Arrested Development," and "Lost." But "High School Musical"? "CSI"? "The Osbournes"? As a person with too much time on their hands that he has already watched a crap load of TV, I could name a bunch of others shows that belong in that list in place of most of those. In fact, I will (in no particular order.):
- "South Park"
- "The Wire"
- "The Chappelle Show"
- "Mad Men"
- "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
- "30 Rock" (before 2008)
- "The Office (UK)"
- "The Office" (US)"
- "Parks and Recreations"
- "House"
- "Family Guy" (before 2007)
- "Chuck"
- "Law and Order: SVU"
- "Spongebob Squarepants" (before 2007)
- "American Dad"
- "Sons of Anarchy"
- "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
- "Everybody Hates Chris"
- "Modern Family"
- "Malcolm in the Middle"
- "Futurama"
- "Monk"
- "The Simpsons" (well, they don't really have a great year this decade. But, gosh darnit, how can you not include it!)
- "The Amazing Race"
- "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"
- "Fringe"
- "Mad TV" (before 2007)
- "Big Love"
- "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?" (before 2003)
- " Recount" (if you're putting a TV movie in there, then I'm putting in my own)
- "The West Wing"
- "Friday Night Lights"
- "Six Feet Under"
- "Breaking Bad"
- "Dexter" (watched the first season when it aired on CBS a few years bac
And then some!
- Jeff Dunham is only funny when doing stand-up. That show of his, however, is not good.
- Which websites commenters are worse: NFL.com's or AOL.com's?
- It wasn't tears that ran through Tim Tebow's face after the SEC Championship. It was holy water that cured ten children's cancers mere hours after the game.
- How come is it that whenever you're approaching a train station, you always arrives seconds before the train is about to leave, but you always have to wait fiteen minutes for a bus to arrive? It's not fair.
More random thoughts coming later this week!
